Sri Vaikunda Ekadasi - 28 December 2009

One of the most important festivals in the month of Maargazhi for all Perumal Temples is undoubtedly Sri Vaikunda Ekadasi. It takes place on 28th December 2009 (Monday). The Swargavaasal Opening will be held at 6.30am this day followed by the paalkudam Thirumanjanam for Perumal. In the evening The Lord will go on the silver chariot procession round the Serangoon Road area before receiving devotees Varusais at the Gopuram entrance of Perumal Temple. We have lined up a series of local and foreign artistes who will perform Dhivya Naama Sankeertahanam and Kaalinga Nardhanam Dance - by the well reowned Bharathaa Arts group from Singapore. The festival concludes with Dwaadhashi Poojai on 29th December 2009 at 5.30am.

• Paalkudam for Perumal at 8am - $10 (All items arranged by Temple)
• Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Archanai Sangalpam - $5 (6pm)
• Varusai Plate for Chariot procession - $10 (Temple prepares all items/Varusai offered at around 10pm after Swaamy returns from Procession)
