ASHTALAKSHIMI MAHAYAAGAM AND MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATIONS

The annual Ashtalakshmi Mahayaagam and the Mother’s Day celebrations are key events in our Temple for Sri Mahalakshmi. They were inaugurated nearly ten years ago, and every year, participating devotees have been presented with specially blessed gifts of Sri Mahalakshmi. These make wonderful presents as Mother’s Day gifts.

This year, the Ashtalakshmi Mahayaagam will start on 1st May 2009 and conclude on Mother’s Day on 10th May 2009. Like last year, there will be a specially blessed Mahalakshmi gift which will be placed in the pooja and presented to devotees as prasadam after the Yaagam on 10th May 2009 at around 11.30am.

Devotees are invited to obtain the $20 particiaption receipt for the Mother’s Day pooja and register at the temple counter for the sangalpam. As there are only 1008 participating receipts for this pooja, do not miss this golden opportunity to present your Mother with a specially blessed gift of Sri Mahalakshmi.

The souvenir will be placed in Yagasalai during the poojas to be blessed by Goddess Mahalakshimi before being presented to devotees on 10th May 2009 at 11:30am
